     Ok so this blog now is just for fun, for ranting and posting about things I like/love. People who are all about my serious writing or who are interested in me as a writing prospect should pop on over to my Writing Career Portfolio  I will be posting articles and papers I have written as well as short stories and maybe excerpts from my book that I have been working on, as for this blog, this is just for fun now. A place where I can go and just enjoy typing about nonsense and maybe inspire myself along the way, Anyway as for now, I must get off of this blog and work on some more serious writing, interested in something different, pop on over to my A Cat's Life blog and check out what my four feline companions have to say. Rediscovering My Writing

    So back to basics, what this blog is really about. Rediscovering my writing... that's it, basically, and if that bores you, I am extremely sorry. But then I can't imagine the first things Stephen King, or Anne Rice ever put down on paper where very interesting, so bare with me here, It might get interesting at some point, especially if I really get going on my novel idea, its not great so far, I should probably post a bit of it on here just for sh*ts and giggles. But first before all that, I have acquired myself a wonderful tool to help me all along the way of writing and publishing:

This book is amazing! I love it, and to think I almost came home with a different book, I was out with my Mom for a day on the town and we were at the book store and I came across this and another title about writing and publishing. I initially purchased the other book, but while I sat in the car after dropping my Mom at the front of the craft store, I flipped through the other book. I quickly realized it was a bit outdated and not what I was looking for, it was only about publishing, and I wanted something more about crafting my writing and the best way to put together a story. So long story short, we slipped back over to the bookstore swapped the two out, then had a very nice lunch at Red Lobster, and I had one of the best days off I have had in a long time. So in conclusion, I plan to read this book cover to cover, and re-craft what I have so far of my sci-fi novel, yes I know, sci-fi I'm, either a geek or everyone and their brother starts with sci-fi but I like to think I have a good idea for a story. Anyway its all down in a notebook on paper, so some tweaking is needed to be done.
        That aside, as I work on that, I really would like to learn how to get into the writing business. It can't be too hard, I hope.... anyway any advice would be much appreciated, making a living wiring is my dream, and to be able to write for a newspaper, or online journal, or magazine, would be amazing, publishing my first book, now that would be downright magical!!!! That being said, we'll see what happens, and I will dedicate myself, when I'm not at the vet clinic working my butt off for no credit...., to furthering my writing career, because that is my real dream, even if none of them at the clinic no that, they all still think I want to be a vet tech. Not so much, writing makes me much happier and more relaxed. So as my last thoughts before I go read some of my novel writing handbook before bed, I want to say, I will do this, I can do this, and I won't give up my dream of one day being published in some form or another!!! :-) I can't ever remember a time where someone had to force me to write something, on tests, research papers, creative writing assignments, I have never, ever had a problem putting words on paper, so maybe just maybe, this is my calling, to bring joy, thoughtfulness, and feeling to people through words. Hmmm I like that, sounds like my mission statement or something. haha. With that last musing, I shall sign off for the night, good night all, until next time ta ta for now. :-)

Last thoughts before bed

   I should probably go to bed, have to work at 1pm tomorrow and do stalls before that, provided its not snowing like crazy like they call for. But here I am, unable to sleep, wide awake at almost 1am. Just thinking, as i said in my previous, I love my vet assistant job and I probably could become a good vet tech, but is that what I really want, tied down to one job for the rest of my life??? I want more than that, and the one thing I can do well beside riding a horse, is write. Lee says i'm good, I hope he's right!! All the research I have been doing to prepare me for this freelance writing course, the one common thing I have seen is simply... write...write...write!!! So that's what I'm doing since I can't sleep and I want to make a career of this anyway, so here goes, late night blah blah blah ;-)

For my first blah blah blah I wanna talk about what I'm watching, TNT has seen fit to bless me with a Supernatural marathon on my Wednesdays off, and its still on, haha everyone loves that show!!! I mean look at these guys... how could you not???

 Anyway before I pass out from hotness, and that's not even a word so that certainly doesn't help my writing one bit! So back to that, I basically love this show, have been watching it since season 7 and they just got picked up for season 11!!! I mean this show has everything, how could you not love it!!! Angles, Demons, family, brothers, good looking guys, friendship, drama, werewolves, monsters, vampires, comedy... I could go on, The writers are incredible, which I guess brings me back to my whole point, I wanna be able to write things that touch people like this show has touched me. I mean its one of the four things so far in my short life that I really can say touched me in some way. Harry Potter being the first, Lord of the Rings the second, and Friends the third, they all have influenced me in good ways and helped me grow as the person I am today. Got off on a tangent there, but basically the show is incredible all around, and the actors are amazing, and they seem to have so much fun making the show together, which makes it enjoyable to watch. :-) Well I could talk about my Winchester boys all night but I won't so as not to bore you, the reader.

    Next subject I guess, which brings me back to the reason I am typing on here at 1am instead of going to bed. I wanna do something, and yes I do something now, and I make a difference in some animal lovers lives and I hope I am useful there, but I wanna make my own mark. Reaching out to people through one of my favorite things, the written word, is the best way to do that I think! That being said, I am hoping you the reader is not bored yet, if you are I'm gonna have a pretty short freelance career. I guess in that case I should stop talking about myself then and talk about something interesting. ok here goes.

REFRESH MIND FLUSH BREAK TIME, BRAINSTORM!!!

    On a more serious note before I get off of here and finish one of my favorite episodes of Supernatural before sleepy time. I do want to say one thing, all the bad that's in this world, I don't mind writing about it or reporting it, or whatever I have to do, I just want someone to listen, that's what I have always wanted. If I write about something I'm passionate about I just hope someone out there is too, I like to think I have grown up a lot since I first started this blog 5 years ago, I think I'm figuring out what I want now, at least I hope! ;-) I'm taking a big step forward starting this course, and I'm putting myself out there, I wanna write about anything and everything. I don't care what they give me to write, I'll write it! I just want the opportunity to put myself out there for someone to read my way of looking at something, no matter what it is. And if I get to make money doing that, f*cking- A Awesome! So here I am baring my soul to a blog on a computer, come at me world, because I'm GONNA WRITE ABOUT YOU!!!!

Been a while

I realize I just come back to this now and then, but that needs to change!!!!

Am starting a Freelance Writer Diploma Course from Penn Foster online college soon I hope!!! Super affordable, then I will get back to writing again, because writing and reading is my foremost passion!!!! So I should defiantly read and write every day, which i do anyway, lol working on a few different stories right now actually, maybe will post a few of those at some point.


That being said, I love my job at the vet clinic and have always wanted to work with animals, but I just don't feel it anymore, its not the job, its the people, don't get me wrong most customers are just fine, its the personalities that converge to form a vet clinic, especially one full of women!!!! They are a pain in the ass, I have been there almost 2 years now and its a regular Payton Place!!!! I worked at 2 other clinics when I was fresh out of high school and I hated it, said I would never go back, but here I am back there again.... Thought about getting my vet tech licence but that seems like a lot of work and money for something that I don't want to do for the rest of my life!!!

So here I am again at another crossroads in my life, maybe this program will be it. There are two things I have wanted to do my entire 1/4 century I have been on this planet, and those two things are Write stories and get published, and work with animals! Well I work with animals, its not the greatest job, but it can be rewarding and it has its moments, but at least I'm making something, and can afford this course, and there is always time to write on the side! :-) So here I go, as soon as I can scrape together the $579 I will be on my way!!!!

Anyway I will defiantly be back on my blog now!!! I've always had the writer in me, its just all coming out now!!!!

Must Get back to that blogging frame of mind.

Hello again, I really need to work on this. I want to write now more than ever, but with the man and I sharing the computer I don't always have time to post, I will deff be posting more as soon as I get all my phone pictures up on here. Then I will have more to write about. As of this junction I need to sign off for now, just about time to head to the farm and take care of the horses. At least the kitties had time to post on A Cat's Life, promise more entries on both blogs and pics coming soon as I find the time. Thanks

OMGosh, I've been neglecting blog!!!

ok, so It's been forever, I'v been so bad about writing this blog. My last post was like almost 2 years ago, but its spring time, and my medical coding quest will be coming to an end, and hopefully I will be finding a job. :-)

We also have 2 additions to the house, the Jessi James cat, who joined us nov of 2010 and the bengal cat Sasha who joined us on valentines day of this year. This brings our grand total up to 4 lovely kitties. :-) Anyway, they are all eagar to post on the sister blog to this one, A Cat's Life.

Check my blog and that one for more posts coming soon, (its really hard to post with just a phone right now, hopefully my computer situation will be fixed soon) Anyway be sure to check out my pinterest as well which i will be posting the link to soon. I look forward to writing more soon, good day everybody! :-)

Leaving... :-(

Well, I'm happy to be going home this evening, but at the same time I'm going to miss everyone up here like I always do. Lee's napping right now so he can drive all night. We're gonna be leaving here in about an hour and a half, so this is gonna be a short one here because I need to run around the house here and make sure we got everything before we go. Hopefully we'll get home around 4 or 5 in the morning depending on traffic. Weather is supposed to be nice though. I had a great time and so did Lee but it's time to go home now. Auntie Sue (Lee's Aunt) is going to be back at the house on Saturday so we have to make sure everything is ready to go for her being there. She's coming back for two weeks to clean out the back room which will become ours, which is AWESOME because I get two whole closets to myself!!!! Anyway I gotta get off of here now, many things left to do before we head home.
